A cast brass sculptural group depicting a traditional farrier scene. The composition features a blacksmith in a workshop apron holding a tool to a horse’s raised hind leg, accompanied by a small dog and an anvil mounted on a stump. The figures are set upon a textured, kidney-shaped base designed to resemble a cobblestone floor. The underside reveals the components are secured to the base with five flathead screws. No maker’s marks or signatures are present.
