Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A fine Lladró glazed porcelain figurine, model number 4991, entitled Madame Butterfly. This piece, designed by Salvador Debón, depicts a figure in a traditional lavender and blue kimono holding two intricately patterned fans. The figurine displays the delicate craftsmanship characteristic of the Spanish maker, including hand-applied pink flowers in the hair and a subtle butterfly motif on the garment. The underside bears the blue stamped Lladró trademark, Hand Made in Spain, and copyright Daisa 1978, alongside incised marks 4991, 32, and E-180. The lot is accompanied by a separate dark-finished, tiered circular base and the original manufacturer’s box from Valencia, Spain. Height: Approximately 30 cm.
