Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A Royal Doulton bone china figurine titled Amy, reference number HN 3316, designated as the Figure of the Year for 1991. Modelled by Peter A. Gee, the piece depicts a standing female figure in a Victorian-style gown. The dress features a blue skirt with a red bodice, a wide white collar, and a matching white waist sash. The figure is posed holding a floral-decorated fan in her left hand while lifting the hem of her skirt with her right. The underside of the base bears the full Royal Doulton factory mark in blue, the title Amy, and the HN number. It includes the inscription stating the piece was a special edition available only during 1991, along with the modeller’s name and a 1990 copyright date. The figurine is accompanied by its original blue Royal Doulton cardboard presentation box.
Condition report:
The figurine is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or evidence of restoration. The glazed surface remains bright. The original presentation box shows minor shelf wear and scuffing to the exterior surfaces and edges.
