Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
This Royal Doulton porcelain figurine, titled The Old Balloon Seller (HN 1315), is hand-made and hand-decorated in England. The piece was modelled by Leslie Harradine and depicts an elderly seated woman holding a large cluster of multicoloured balloons with a small basket of flowers at her side. The figure is dressed in a green shawl over a burgundy bodice and a white apron. The underside of the base features the official Royal Doulton hallmark, the model title, the model number HN 1315, and the printed signature of the modeller. The figurine is accompanied by its original blue Royal Doulton presentation box.
Condition report:
The figurine is in excellent condition with a glossy, intact glaze. No visible chips, cracks, or restorations are present. The original presentation box shows minor signs of shelf wear.
