Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A Royal Doulton bone china figurine titled Belle, model number HN 3703, issued as the Figure of the Year 1996. Hand-made and hand-decorated in England, the piece was modelled by designer Valerie Annand. The figurine depicts a female figure in a Victorian-style gown featuring a deep red bodice with dark accents and a voluminous skirt shaded in yellow and orange tones. The figure is posed holding a pink fan in the left hand. The underside is marked with the Royal Doulton backstamp, model identification, and the printed signature of the designer. The item is accompanied by its original blue presentation box which features the text Royal Doulton and the French phrase Un Hommage à l’Imagination.
Condition report:
The figurine is in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restoration. The original presentation box exhibits visible shelf wear and scuffing to the exterior.
