Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A Lladró glazed porcelain figurine titled The Golfer, model number 4824. Designed by sculptor Vicente Martínez and first issued in 1972, this hand-painted piece depicts a male golfer at the peak of his backswing. The figure is dressed in classic attire, including a white cap, grey sweater, and tan trousers. A white golf bag with clubs stands behind him on a textured circular base finished in a pale green glaze to represent a fairway, complete with a single white golf ball. The underside bears the blue Lladró factory mark with the bell-flower logo, LLADRÓ, and HAND MADE IN SPAIN. It is further incised with the model number 4824 and production code J-21 A, alongside various artisan marks. Height: 28 cm.
