Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A fine Lladró glazed porcelain figurine titled Summer Serenade (Spanish: Paseo de Verano), model number 6193, designed by sculptor Joan Coderch. The piece depicts a young woman in a graceful, kinetic pose with windswept hair, wearing a flowing white gown accented with a soft pink and blue floral pattern at the hem. She is shown holding a billowing light blue shawl, upon which a small, delicately modelled bird is perched. The base features the underglaze blue bellflower logo, LLADRÓ, HAND MADE IN SPAIN, and © DAISA 1994. Incised marks include the model number 6193, F-15 N, and various artisan symbols used for internal factory tracking. Height: 25 cm.
