Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A vintage Lladró fine glazed porcelain figurine titled “Balloon Seller” (Vendedora de Globos), model number 5141. The piece depicts a young girl in a dynamic pose, her long blue skirt billowing in the breeze, holding a large bunch of seven colourful balloons in soft pastel glazes of blue, white, yellow, pink, and green. She wears a mauve-toned blouse with a white shawl tied at her chest and a brown satchel at her hip. The underside of the base bears the authentic blue factory stamp featuring the stylised bluebell flower above “LLADRÓ”, “HAND MADE IN SPAIN”, and “© DAISA 1982”. The model number “5141” is incised into the porcelain, accompanied by various decorator and production marks including “34” and “B-4N”. Height: 26 cm.
