Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A fine Lladró gres porcelain figurine, model number 2385, titled “Coming Home” (Regreso a Casa), designed by Juan Ignacio Aliena and issued in 1998. The piece depicts a young girl in travelling attire, wearing a long buttoned ochre-coloured coat, a textured blue scarf, and a wide-brimmed dusty rose hat adorned with delicate yellow and white porcelain flowers. She carries a dark textured suitcase in her right hand and a patterned hatbox tied with a blue bow in her left. The figurine is finished in the characteristic matte gres style, offering an earthy texture and muted colour palette. The underside features the blue Lladró factory mark with the bellflower logo, “HAND MADE IN SPAIN”, “© DAISA 1997”, the impressed model number “2385”, and various decorator marks. Includes the original blue cardboard box. Height: 9.75 inches.
