Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A fine Lladró porcelain figurine titled “Oriental Spring” (also known as “Chrysanthemum”), model number 4990, sculpted by Salvador Debón. The piece depicts a graceful Japanese geisha in a traditional kimono featuring floral relief patterns, holding a closed fan with a delicate hand gesture. Her hair is intricately styled and adorned with two hand-applied pink porcelain blossoms. Finished in a high-gloss glaze with a characteristic palette of soft pastel pinks, lavenders, and greys. The underside bears the blue Lladró backstamp with the bellflower logo, “HAND MADE IN SPAIN”, and “© DAISA 1978”. Includes the incised model number 4990 and artisan marks “E-30 AG”. Accompanied by the original blue factory box. Height 29 cm.
