Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
This lot comprises two items from the Spanish porcelain manufacturer Lladró. The primary piece is the Angela figurine, also known as June or Dama de la Sombrilla, model number 5211, designed by Jose Puche. Sculpted in glazed porcelain, it depicts a young woman in 18th-century period dress featuring a tiered gown in a soft palette of grey, mauve, and white. The base is marked with the blue factory backstamp, DAISA 1983 copyright, incised model number 5211, and decorator marks including S-17 K. The second item is the Navidad 1974 annual collector’s plate, featuring a white bisque porcelain high-relief scene of three children in winter clothing. Both items include their original presentation boxes, and the figurine is complete with its original lace and wire parasol and documentation. Height 22 cm.
