A commemorative porcelain collector’s plate by the Spanish manufactory Lladró, produced for the year 1979. The piece features a central matte white bisque relief medallion depicting a mother in an embrace with two children, rendered in the factory’s characteristic sentimental style. This central scene is encircled by a fine gold-toned band and a wide, glazed light blue rim. The lower section of the rim displays the blue transfer-printed Spanish inscription Dia de la Madre 1979. The plate is accompanied by its original cardboard presentation box and a metal wire display stand. This annual issue is a classic example of late 20th-century Spanish porcelain collectables. Diameter: approximately 20 cm.
