Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A glazed porcelain figurine titled A Lady of Taste, model number 1495, manufactured by Lladro. The sculpture depicts an elongated female figure dressed in a strapless, floor-length pale blue gown. She holds a bouquet of lilies and roses, with a lavender-coloured wrap draped over her left arm. The figure stands adjacent to a miniature chair featuring pink and white striped upholstery, upon which rests an open book and a single tulip. The composition is set on an oval base with a tiled-effect surface. The piece is finished in a soft pastel colour palette. This model was issued in 1986 and retired in 2004.
