Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A Lladro glazed porcelain figurine titled Looking Pretty, model number 06688, depicting two Maltese dogs resting atop a tufted footstool with ornate cabriole legs. The piece is executed in a characteristic palette of muted pastel colours with fine detailing to the dogs coats and the texture of the upholstery. The underside of the base bears the blue Lladro factory stamp, Hand Made in Spain, and a copyright date of 1999 for Daisa. The figurine is accompanied by its original cardboard shipping box, which includes a product label identifying the piece in both Spanish as Perros Malteses and English as Looking Pretty.
