Star Yacht (Birkenhead, England). A pair of vintage pond sailboats featuring painted wooden hulls in contrasting blue and red. These wind-powered vessels are constructed with wooden masts and booms, carrying original fabric sails and string rigging. The mainsails of both yachts are clearly stamped with the manufacturer’s black star logo and the model designation SY / 2. The red yacht retains its original circular gold-foil deck decal which reads STAR YACHT GUARANTEED TO SAIL BIRKENHEAD MADE IN ENGLAND. These models represent the classic British pond yacht design produced by the renowned Birkenhead firm. Each vessel is presented on a matching wooden display stand.
