A pair of pressed glass shallow bowls in the William and Mary pattern, attributed to George Davidson and Co. Each piece is crafted from yellow uranium glass, commonly referred to as Vaseline glass, which exhibits a strong green fluorescence under ultraviolet light. The intricate pressed design features a central starburst motif surrounded by diamond-point fields and petal-like forms, finished with a scalloped, ruffled rim. One bowl displays a more pronounced milky opalescence towards the edge, characteristic of the Pearline manufacturing process.
