A late Victorian or Edwardian bar brooch featuring a central three-leaf shamrock motif. The bar is constructed from 9 carat yellow gold and is stamped 9Ct on the reverse. The shamrock motif is grain-set with approximately 20 small rose-cut or single-cut diamonds in a white metal, likely silver-topped gold. Six round-cut red garnets are featured: three forming the centres of the shamrock leaves, one larger stone at the centre of the motif, and two set at the terminals of the bar. The brooch is fitted with a hinged metal pin and a traditional C-clasp, accompanied by a safety chain and safety pin. The item is housed in a red velvet-covered presentation box with a cream satin and velvet interior, the lid interior signed Camelot in gilt script.
