An unmarked artisanal hand-carved wooden chess set featuring thirty-two pieces and a matching folding chessboard. The set is crafted in a stylized Staunton-influenced design, with one side finished in a natural light wood tone under a high-gloss lacquer, and the opposing side finished in a glossy black paint. Each piece is fitted with a white felt base to protect the playing surface. The chessboard is constructed from solid wood with a prominent decorative grain, possibly olive wood, featuring alternating natural and black painted squares framed by a thin inlaid border. The board is hinged at the centre, allowing it to fold for the storage of the pieces. No manufacturer marks or stamps are present.
