A glazed porcelain character decanter and stopper produced by the Korosten Porcelain Factory in the Soviet Union. The vessel features a rounded body with twin gilded scroll handles. The stopper is moulded in the form of a man’s head, depicted with a blue cap, a prominent moustache, and orange-tinted cheeks. The body of the piece includes relief-moulded details, including a smoking pipe at the neck and a sabre to one side. The decoration consists of hand-painted floral motifs in blue, red, and green, with a central red panel featuring scrolling patterns framed by blue borders. Extensive overglaze gilding is applied to the handles, floral outlines, and moulded details. The base features a circular blue stamp containing a stylised letter K, the printed words Made in USSR, and a stamped number 2110-у.
