The collection includes a copy of The Illustrated History of Cigars by Bernard Le Roy and Maurice Szafran. This is a large format hardcover volume with its original dust jacket.
The wooden humidor chest features a tiered interior and is decorated with geometric marquetry inlay in the Middle Eastern style, featuring star and diamond motifs in contrasting natural materials. The lid opens to reveal tiered, grooved wooden trays designed for individual cigar storage.
Included is a turned wood cigar tube with a gilt-metal end cap stamped BREV. MOD. PARIS around a central circular logo.
The group contains several cigar cutters: an Ever-Cut rectangular metal cutter with a textured grip, marked BREV+MOD. and SUISSE DEP. to the base; a folding pocket-style cutter with black composition scales; and a folding pocket-style cutter with stag horn or bone scales.
A polished white metal vesta case is included, featuring an integrated striker and an interior stamped GERMANY. It contains a quantity of matches.
