A circular cast brass or bronze alloy jardinière of Renaissance Revival design. The vessel features a flared rim with a gadrooned rope-twist border. The exterior body is decorated with relief-moulded arched panels against a brickwork-textured ground. These panels alternate between motifs of stylized flowers on stems and a diamond-patterned lozenge lattice. The piece is fitted with two lion-mask handles, each supporting a circular drop ring. The jardinière is supported on three out-swept paw feet. The interior shows the reverse of the relief moulding and significant oxidation. No maker marks, stamps, or inscriptions are visible on the exterior or interior surfaces.
