This folding wooden bed tray and reading table was manufactured by John Watts (Sheffield & London) Limited. The piece is constructed from stained oak and features a central adjustable easel-style book or document rest. The top surface includes a raised gallery edge on three sides and a shaped, concave front edge. Three metal clips are attached to the front edge to secure reading material. The tray is supported by two folding wooden side panels acting as legs, secured with metal hinges.
