A late Victorian nurse’s belt in the Art Nouveau style. The belt is constructed from a series of openwork rectangular panels, each featuring chased decoration of a bird, such as a heron or crane, set within scrolling floral and foliate motifs. These panels are connected by hinged bars. The belt features a larger, matching two-piece interlocking buckle at the centre with corresponding chased bird and foliate designs, EPNS
