This lot comprises an assortment of vintage domestic items and collectibles. Included is a cased three-piece christening set featuring a silver-toned egg cup and matching napkin ring with pierced foliate decorative borders, together with a plain teaspoon, presented in a fitted black case with cream satin and black velvet lining. A set of six tea knives by Walker & Hall, Sheffield, features stainless steel blades marked with the maker’s flag symbol and cream-coloured composite handles, housed in a decorative geometric patterned cardboard box. The collection further includes a cased set of two pairs of silver-toned nutcrackers and two matching picks with reeded handles, and a set of six silver-toned teaspoons of simple design in a brown leather-effect case. Also present is a pair of brass field glasses with a dark aged patina. These items are accompanied by a small brown textured leather travelling case, in the style of an English valet suitcase similar to those by Asprey of London, featuring two metal latches and a central locking mechanism.
