A pair of wheel-turned earthenware chalices, each featuring a tulip-shaped bowl on a cylindrical stem and a flat, circular foot. The items are finished in an off-white glaze and decorated with hand-painted gold-tone highlights to the rims, stem joints, and base edges. One goblet features an additional scrolled gilt border just below the rim. The bowls show internal throwing rings, indicating they are wheel-turned. The unglazed base of each goblet bears a hand-painted mark in blue, featuring a stylized monogram possibly combining the letters J and R or a cursive R.
