A lot comprising two woven wicker baskets of varying forms. The larger basket is of deep cylindrical construction, finished with a dark honey-toned varnish. It features a heavy plaited rim and a tight randing weave, suitable for use as a log basket or large wastepaper bin. The smaller basket is of oval, boat-shaped form with a central fixed twisted handle, suitable for shopping or garden use. Included within the smaller basket is a folded red tartan plaid blanket or travel rug featuring black, yellow, and blue accents. These items are consistent with 20th-century British domestic utility wares. No maker’s marks, labels, or stamps are visible on any of the items.
