This lot features two early 20th-century brass smallwares. The first is a Put & Take hexagonal gaming spinner, a cast brass gambling top dating from circa 1910-1930. The six faces are stamped with the instructions TAKE ONE, TAKE TWO, PUT ONE, PUT TWO, ALL PUT, and TAKE ALL. It includes an intact knurled spindle. The second item is an ornate rotating multi-matrix wax desk seal from the Late Victorian or Edwardian period. The cast brass or bronze seal is designed in the Gothic Revival style with foliate scrollwork and a star-shaped frame. It features six rotating circular matrices with various heraldic motifs, including a castle gatehouse, a crown, a heraldic bird, and a dog with the inscription JUBILEE. Red sealing wax residue is visible on the central hub. Dimensions: Spinner approx. 32mm length; Seal approx. 52mm diameter.
