A pair of brass candlesticks featuring open-spiral or barley twist stems. The design is characteristic of British decorative metalware from the early 20th century and resembles the work of makers such as Peerage. Each piece is constructed from cast brass components secured by a central threaded rod, visible via a slotted screw head on the underside. The candlesticks feature flared, vase-shaped nozzles and stand on stepped, circular weighted bases. The exterior surfaces exhibit a bright, polished finish, while the undersides retain a dark, textured cast appearance. No maker marks or inscriptions are present.
