A pair of Caithness Glass vessels from the Ebony collection, handcrafted in Scotland. The set comprises a flared, footed bowl and an elongated baluster-form vase with a flared rim. Both pieces are constructed from hand-blown art glass featuring an opaque pale yellow ground. The decoration consists of a heavily mottled, dark brown and black textured splatter effect at the base, from which a single vertical line with an oval head extends upwards in a stylised seed or tadpole motif. The bowl features a dark, mottled brown interior. The vase retains the original rectangular factory paper label which reads Caithness GLASS Handcrafted in Scotland.
