A pair of mirrored seated dog figurines, commonly known as Wally dogs, attributed to the Bo’ness Pottery of Scotland. These figures represent long-haired dogs, likely collies, and are constructed from glazed earthenware. The decoration consists of a white ground with ginger-coloured patches and hand-painted black overglaze details to the facial features, including the eyes, eyebrows, and whiskers. Gold lustre highlights are applied to the moulded collars, padlocks, chains, and fur. The figurines are designed for mantelpiece display and feature unglazed bases with central circular firing holes. No factory marks, model numbers, or decorator signatures are present.
