The collection represents a broad cross-section of the British Army and Royal Air Force, including infantry regiments, technical corps, and yeomanry units. Featured units include the Royal Air Force, Royal Garrison Artillery, Gordon Highlanders, The Black Watch, York and Lancaster Regiment, The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment), and the Suffolk Regiment. Technical and support services are represented by the Royal Engineers, Royal Army Ordnance Corps, Intelligence Corps, Royal Artillery, Royal Corps of Signals, and Military Police.
