A collection of twelve hand-painted military miniatures produced by DeAgostini. The lot includes six boxed figures from the Soldiers of the Great War 1914-1918 series and six loose figures representing various historical and modern eras. The boxed First World War subjects include an Anzac infantryman with slouch hat and bayonet, a German infantryman in Feldgrau with Pickelhaube, a British infantryman with Brodie helmet, and a machine gun operator. The loose figures comprise a Second World War Luftwaffe pilot in a black flight suit with yellow Schwimmweste and Iron Cross detail, a Royal Air Force pilot with flight goggles and life vest, and four modern-era combatants. These modern figures include a special forces soldier in six-colour desert camouflage, a desert infantryman with radio equipment, an arctic combatant in white camouflage, and a woodland infantryman with a green beret. Each figure is constructed from cast lead or tin alloy and features factory-applied paint. The boxes are clearly marked with the manufacturer name and series title.
