A collection of toys and promotional items produced by Vivid Imaginations based on the television series Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. The lot includes two carded action figures: Captain Scarlet with Electron Gun (product number 51011, copyright 1993 ITC Entertainment Group Ltd) and Captain Black as Spy with Laser Rifle (product number 51024, copyright 1994 ITC Entertainment Group Ltd). The Captain Scarlet figure retains an original John Menzies price tag of £2.99, and the Captain Black figure retains a Beatties price tag of £1.29. The collection also features two carded die-cast vehicles: a Spectrum Car with a flip-open engine cover (product number 51004) and a Spectrum Jet Liner with working landing gear (product number 51003). A loose die-cast Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle (SPV) in a red finish is also included. Accompanying the toys is a selection of ephemera comprising a folder of twenty colour postcards (ISBN 1-85471-379-5), an enamel Spectrum logo pin brooch on a Dufort branded card, and three sealed plastic bags each containing a booklet and a promotional button badge. Two badges are inscribed with the text This is the Voice of the Mysterons! and one features Indestructible Captain Scarlet with a character portrait. Most items are marked Vivid Imaginations and bear copyright information for ITC Entertainment Group Ltd dated 1993 or 1994.
