A mid-20th-century pressed uranium glass vase of waisted trumpet form. The piece features a flared octagonal rim and a corresponding octagonal foot. The body is designed with vertical panels, alternating between smooth raised ribs and stippled or textured recessed sections. The glass is a translucent pale green in natural light and exhibits a strong green fluorescence under ultraviolet light, confirming the presence of uranium oxide in the glass composition. The style is consistent with British pressed glass production from the 1930s to the 1950s and is attributed to manufacturers such as Bagley and Co. or Sowerby. No maker marks, signatures, or etched characters are present on the rim, body, or base.
