A set of eight W. Britain Special Collectors Edition hand-painted die-cast metal toy soldiers from the Zulu War Rorkes Drift British Character Set. The collection comprises seven infantrymen in charging poses and one officer. The figures are depicted in British Army Home Service uniforms featuring red tunics with green facings at the collars and cuffs, white cross belts, and dark blue trousers with a red side stripe. The infantry figures wear black spiked Home Service helmets with gold-tone detailing and are equipped with rifles and fixed bayonets. The officer is depicted wearing a peaked cap and carrying a drawn sword. The underside of the green metal bases features embossed text reading © BRITAINS 1998 MADE IN CHINA with the printed reference 104 9L. The set is housed in its original burgundy textured card box with gold-tone script branding and a grey protective foam insert with custom cut-outs.
