This lot consists of two mid-20th century style clockwork toys. The first is a mechanical musical monkey featuring a plush-covered body, plastic face, and plastic feet, dressed in red fabric overalls. The figure holds two metal cymbals and is operated by an integral white plastic wind-up key situated on the back. The second item is a mechanical tricycle toy with a lithographed tinplate clown figure and a red-painted tinplate frame. The clockwork mechanism is powered by an integral metal key on the rear platform, with the mainspring visible on the underside of the chassis. These items resemble designs produced in Japan during the second half of the 20th century, though no manufacturer marks are present.
