A collection of military model aircraft constructed from mixed media, including die-cast metal and plastic components. The collection comprises a variety of fixed-wing and tilt-rotor aircraft spanning the Second World War, the Cold War, and the modern era. The models are static display pieces, with some featuring manually rotating propellers. Each aircraft is presented on a black plastic display stand featuring white printed identification text.
The Second World War era models include a Hawker Typhoon in Royal Air Force markings (HH T), a Junkers Ju 87 Stuka in Luftwaffe markings, a Heinkel He 111 in Luftwaffe markings, a Mitsubishi A6M Zero in Japanese markings, and a Vought F4U Corsair in US Navy markings (29).
The Cold War and modern era models include a Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 in Soviet markings (384), a MiG-23 in Soviet markings, a Dassault Mirage 2000 in French markings, a BAe Hawk in Royal Air Force markings, an A-10 Thunderbolt II in United States Air Force markings, a Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey tilt-rotor, and a Grumman E-2 Hawkeye marked E-2CJ with US markings and 600 on the nose.
The display stands are printed with the following designations: MIRAGE 2000, MIG-15, F4U CORSAIR (marked Scale 1:100), JU 87 STUKA, HEINKEL He 111, ZERO FIGHT, A-10 THUNDERBOLT WARTHOG, HAWKER TYPHOON, E-2CJ GRUMMAN, BAe HAWK, BELL BOE OSPREY, MIG-23, and KF-?.
