A mid-20th-century pickle or preserve jar of tapered cylindrical form, decorated with vertical pillar or flute cutting around the main body. The upper rim features a horizontal band of notched facet cuts. The jar is fitted with a glass lid that has a stepped, concentric circular design and is topped with a faceted, star-cut finial. The set is presented in a chrome-plated metal wirework stand featuring a bail handle and an integrated side ring holding a small, plain glass drip cup. A matching three-pronged pickle fork is included. The reverse of the fork handle is stamped with the characters CHROMEPLATED.
