This 9ct yellow gold Albert watch chain is composed of faceted curb links and is fitted with a T-bar and a lobster-style clasp. The chain is accompanied by a circular decorative fob featuring a central unengraved shield within an embossed border. The fob is struck with several British hallmarks: the numeral 9 and decimal .375 indicating 9 carat gold fineness, an anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office, and a date letter v corresponding to the early 20th century. The T-bar and chain links also bear marks including 9C and characters for a maker’s name reading BROS.
