An Elgin double hunter pocket watch featuring a gold-filled case and a white enamel dial. The dial displays black Roman numeral hour markers with a rail-track minute ring and is signed ELGIN below the twelve o’clock position. The interior of the case lid is stamped with the maker mark Illinois WATCH CASE CO. ELGIN U.S.A alongside a standing figure logo and the serial number 5935453. An inner lid is further inscribed THIS CASE GUARANTEED TO WEAR 10 YEARS followed by the corresponding serial number. The watch is configured with a knurled winding crown and suspension ring at the twelve o’clock position an is working.
