A large mid-century modern Rya style shag pile rug, attributed to Ege, Denmark, dating circa 1970s. The rug features a psychedelic geometric design composed of large concentric circles and undulating organic forms. The colour palette consists of vibrant shades of orange, mustard yellow, and chocolate brown set against a cream-white ground. The rug is constructed with a long, deep pile on a machine-woven foundation. Both long edges are finished with a reinforced brown fabric binding tape on the underside.
