A collection of six glazed earthenware miniature architectural models, designed as promotional liqueur bottles for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Produced by Bols Royal Distilleries, these pieces are decorated in a monochrome blue transfer-print on a white ground in the traditional Delftware style. Each bottle depicts a specific Dutch canal house with unique gable, window, and door configurations. The chimneys function as the bottle necks and are fitted with wax-sealed stoppers. The reverse of each house is marked with a specific identification number at the top of the gable, the text BOLS AMSTERDAM 1575 or Blue Delft’s made for BOLS Royal Distilleries Holland in the centre, and the KLM logo surmounted by a crown at the base. The houses included in this collection are numbered 15, 27, 39, 42, 46, and 58.
