A collection of miniature ceramic liquor bottles produced for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines by Bols Distillery. Each bottle is modelled after a specific historic Dutch building and crafted in the Delft Blue style. The pieces feature white glazed ceramic bodies decorated with blue-painted architectural details, including windows, doors, and various gable styles, topped with dark blue glazed roofs. Each bottle retains its original yellow plastic seal over the chimney-style neck.
The collection includes house numbers 13, 38, 40, and 43. The reverse of each bottle displays the Bols name, the KLM logo with a crown, and the respective house number. The bases of the items carry various printed and incised marks. House 13 is marked with ‘Blue Delft’s exclusively made for KLM by BOLS AMSTERDAM 1575’, ‘Bols Genever 35mle’, and an incised ‘2018 13’. House 38 is marked with ‘Blue Delft’s exclusively made for KLM by BOLS AMSTERDAM 1575’ and an incised ‘2016 38’. House 40 is marked ‘Blue Delft’s exclusively made for KLM by BOLS Royal Distilleries Holland’ with an incised ’40’. House 43 is marked ‘Blue Delft’s exclusively made for KLM by BOLS AMSTERDAM 1575’ with an incised ‘2015 43’.
