This lot consists of a set of miniature glazed ceramic houses, produced as commemorative liquor containers for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines by Bols Royal Distilleries. The items are designed in the Delft Blue style, featuring white ceramic bodies with dark blue architectural detailing representing traditional Dutch canal houses. The collection includes models numbered 48, 49, 50, and 59. House number 48 depicts a gabled building with a dark roof and a central chimney. House number 49 features a decorative bell-gable facade and a central chimney with a yellow wax seal. House number 50 shows a side-profile view of a house with multiple gables. House number 59 is a tall, narrow building with a decorative neck-gable facade. The rear of each house is printed with its specific model number, the Bols name, and the KLM crown logo. The bases bear printed marks reading Blue Delft’s exclusively made for KLM by BOLS with variations including Amsterdam 1575 and Royal Distilleries Holland. Certain examples feature impressed digits for the year 2016 alongside their model numbers.
