A large natural specimen of a King Queen Helmet (Cassis tuberosa) marine gastropod shell. The shell features a substantial creamy-white calcified body with prominent conical spines along the shoulder and a finely reticulated surface texture derived from natural growth lines. The apex displays a distinct spiral spire. A characteristic feature is the wide, flared outer lip, which is polished and decorated with bold, radial dark brown and tan bands. The interior aperture reveals a smooth, lustrous surface with visible ridges or teeth along both the inner columellar margin and the outer lip. This specimen is a natural formation with no maker’s marks or inscriptions.
