This lot comprises two pieces of vintage uranium glass, both exhibiting strong green fluorescence under ultraviolet light. The first item is a pressed satin or frosted glass tri-footed bowl in a pale yellow-green colour. The exterior features a relief-moulded pattern of butterflies amongst flowers and foliage, identified as the ‘Butterfly’ pattern (No. 3141) by Bagley Glass, UK. The circular bowl rests on three integral block-style feet. The second item is a small green seeded glass vase characterised by a dense distribution of controlled air bubbles within the metal. The vase has a bulbous lower section and a wide, flared rim. No maker’s marks or inscriptions are visible on either item.
