A mid-20th-century table lamp constructed from heavy cut lead crystal. The lamp features a matching bell-shaped shade with a domed, faceted top and a scalloped lower rim, which rests upon a three-arm brass spider support. The main body comprises a knopped stem with an urn-shaped central section, set upon a circular flared base with a star-cut underside. The glass is decorated throughout with a deep-cut diamond and cross-hatched pattern. A registered design mark is visible on the upper portion of the shade, marked REGD followed by a series of numerals. The lamp is fitted with a brass bayonet-cap bulb holder and has been rewired with a gold-toned power cord and a white plastic UK three-pin plug. This item is sold as a collectable and has not been tested for electrical safety; it is recommended that it be inspected and rewired by a qualified professional before use.
