A large-format pop-up book engineered by Matthew Reinhart with illustrations by Michael Komarck. The volume is bound in publisher’s pictorial boards designed to simulate a weathered, metal-bound leather tome, embellished with the sigils of House Stark, Lannister, Targaryen, and Baratheon. The work contains five main spreads featuring complex three-dimensional paper engineering of locations from the series, including King’s Landing and the Red Keep, The Eyrie, Winterfell with its weirwood tree, The Wall at Castle Black, and the cities of Qarth and Pentos on the continent of Essos. Each spread incorporates multiple interactive pull-tabs and smaller secondary pop-ups accompanied by text panels detailing the history and lore of Westeros. This is a first edition, first printing, published by Insight Editions in 2014.
