A modern slip-cast ceramic figurine depicting the Amida Buddha, modelled after the Great Buddha (Daibutsu) of Kamakura. The piece is constructed from a light-coloured earthenware body finished with a dark brown, metallic-effect glossy glaze to simulate patinated bronze. The figure is shown seated in the Dhyana Mudra pose with hands resting in the lap. Traditional iconographic features include hair styled in snail-like curls and a prominent ushnisha. The robe is draped over the left shoulder. The underside is unglazed and features two circular firing holes. No factory marks, model numbers, or artist signatures are present.
