A mid-century modern decorative dish produced by Studio Laurana Rame d’Arte in Italy, circa 1960s. The piece is crafted from copper with a vitreous enamel finish. The interior is decorated with a bold abstract design featuring raised impasto-style enamel in shades of red, turquoise, lime green, and pink against a metallic bronze-toned ground. The exterior surface is finished in a mottled cobalt blue enamel with a fine crystalline crackle texture. The vessel has an organic, undulating trefoil shape. The base is signed with an incised Laurana script and retains an original paper label which reads Laurana Rome d’Arte P3. A small red felt protector is adhered to the centre of the underside.
